Over the last few years, we have been carefully developing a bespoke platform tailored to the learning needs of NDT technicians.
“It is important to consider how different people learn. In a classroom, the tutor is able to tailor the course content to each individual’s learning style and explain things in a way that will aid learning and knowledge retention. With an online platform, you don’t have that conduit and so we have had to really think about how we can explain technical concepts in a way that helps people with different learning styles to best understand. We didn’t want the student to be left with blocks of text that can be difficult to understand”, says Amy Schofield, Business Development Manager.
\( \textsf {How does it work?} \)
Students complete an online application. Once approved, students are given access to undertake their theory training online using our online training platform. Upon completion, candidates attend a Lavender training facility in the UK or USA to complete their examination.
\( \textsf {What is included?} \)
The Level 3 basic course is tailored to an individual’s training needs. It covers the PCN general documentation and a number of the methods outlined below as required, determined by the level of work experience and current qualifications of the candidate. The content for each method is broken down into modules, incorporating illustrations, videos, animations and end of module assessments alongside the written content.
