Our very own Tim Armitt will be presenting a Master Class in Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) Data Analysis at this years ASNT Fall Conference in Salt Lake City.

TOFD is a nondestructive ultrasonic testing method that is sensitive and accurate for finding defects in welds. Compared to conventional methods of ultrasonic testing, TOFD is sensitive to cracks and measures their dimensions accurately. In this class, the instructor will provide step-by-step guidance into data analysis including how to diagnose problems in set-up and data acquisition.
