The building is brand new and has sufficient space to allow us to have 3 purpose built Training Rooms together with expanded dedicated practical areas. This allows more space for both students and staff, and also allows increased space for storage of samples, including those sourced from industry.
We will continue to offer our regular suite of courses – Magnetic Testing; Penetrant testing; Radiographic Interpretation; Ultrasonic Testing Welds – Plate, Pipe, Node and Nozzle plus advanced UT programmes of Time of Flight Diffraction and Phased Array; Eddy Current Testing (Welds and Tubes) and ACFM.
In February/March 2016 we will be conducting PCN Level 3 training and exams at our new facility.
Once the move is complete we also plan to offer Technical evenings in association with AINDT Western Australia Branch, offering Technicians the opportunity for further professional development.
While the new facility will be open for courses in October, we are planning an official opening event in February to coincide with the Australian Oil and Gas Expo in Perth.
