Candidates who have successfully completed the PCN MT Level 2 course and exam, but do not have the work experience necessary for eligibility for Certification are eligible for the new Lavender initiative. Under a Procedure approved by PCN and in accordance with EN ISO 9712 a candidate can attend the Lavender MT work experience programme for 9 days and this is recognised as being equivalent to a maximum of 2 months (50%) of the total work experience requirement.

The remaining time must be gained under the candidates’ usual industrial environment with appropriate supervision.
