The role:

We are currently looking for a motivated Apprenticeship Quality Manager who can support the development of a brand new apprenticeship department and implement processes to provide outstanding success for apprentices and employers. The candidate will be required to ensure all apprenticeship delivery is compliant with ESFA and Ofsted requirements, producing accurate self-assessment reports and driving continuous improvement through an effective Quality Improvement Plan.

This will be a full-time position based at the Advanced Manufacturing Park in Rotherham and will involve travel within the UK. We also have a flexible work from home policy with opportunity to take a hybrid approach. The candidate must be willing to travel in the UK.

Key duties to include:

  1. Co-ordinate and draft the annual Self-Assessment Report and Quality Improvement Plan. Monitor and progress actions in the QIP, reporting to the Board of Directors.
  2. Co-ordinate and manage Ofsted EIF inspection.
  3. Prepare and present reports for the Apprenticeship Operations Manager and the Board of Directors on quality monitoring results, analysis, and trends to inform risk mitigation.
  4. Plan and support the Apprenticeship Operations Manager in carrying out Teaching and Learning observations to monitor the quality of teaching being delivered.
  5. Implement quality improvement processes and procedures and monitor compliance to ensure positive impact.
  6. Plan and carry out apprentice and employer surveys, analyse and work with the Operations Manager and Apprenticeship Delivery Manager on continuous improvement requirements.
  7. Working closely with the Operations Manager take a lead on Safeguarding, developing the processes and procedure and carry out associated staff training.
  8. Develop training material for trainers to use for delivery of British Values, safeguarding and radicalisation. Carry out associated staff training.
  9. Working closely with the Apprenticeship Operations Manager develop the Initial Assessment and Induction Process for Apprentices.
  10. Ensure all processes, systems, procedures, and documentation comply with ESFA funding rules.
  11. Working closely with the Apprenticeship Delivery Manager ensure the apprenticeship delivery model and training maximises learning content and utilises on-line learning and electronic portfolios effectively and is of the highest quality.
  12. Plan and carry out documentation, compliance, and quality audits to ensure all ESFA funding rules are being adhered to.
  13. Ensure effective monitoring and quality assurance of ‘Off-The-Job’ records.
  14. Drive continuous improvements to the apprenticeship delivery model to reach optimum performance outcomes in terms of completion and EPA achievements.
  15. Implement delivery practices that achieve high levels of learner and employer satisfaction.

 

Experience:

  • Experience in apprenticeship quality management.
  • Extensive knowledge of quality standards including ESFA and Ofsted.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Education Inspection Framework and compliance.
  • Great communication and organisational skills.
  • Proficient with MS office.
