Last evening the Prime Minister of The United Kingdom announced strict measures designed to suppress the spread of this disease across the country. Lavender International support the Prime Minister and his Government in taking these strong actions and with immediate effect have suspended all our training courses and all staff are now, where possible, working from home. We all need to play our part in reducing the spread of this disease which in turn will help our National Health Service manage cases where individuals need critical care. We are all aware that this action may inconvenience some and we will work with you to reschedule all training courses and exams to dates later in the year. At this time the Government are advising a minimum of three-week lockdown, there exists a likelihood that the Government lockdown will remain longer. All we can do is continually monitor the situation and take provisional bookings for dates later in the year.
Key staff are now working from home and remain on call for technical support, procedure review, techniques approval and report writing. Our office landline is now operating on call divert and will remained staffed during normal business hours. Likewise, all our emails are remaining active with staff happy to respond in a timely manner.
If you are concerned about the impact the current situation could have on your PCN certification, please visit the BINDT website for further information and guidance.
