From 1st January 2023, BINDT will be reinstating the 6-week rule to all PCN renewal and recertification exams.

This means candidates can no longer re-certify up until their certificate expiry date and students must take their exam 6 weeks before their expiry date.

For example, if your certification expires on 17th February 2023, you will need to take your exam before 6th January 2023 to avoid late deferral fees.

However, exceptions will be made for candidates who have booked their exam for 2023 before 1st December 2022.

If there are any extenuating circumstances that means you are unable to take your exam prior to the 6-week expiry date, then this will be on a reviewed by PCN on a case-by-case basis. Contact BINDT for more details.

We are encouraging students to book in for their recertification exam or apply for their renewal 6 weeks prior to their expiry date to avoid late deferral fees.
