Further to the success of our early adventure to the AMP we took a larger room for our Advanced UT, Time of Flight Diffraction and Phased Array Courses.

With the continuing success of the manual UT programmes in Penistone and the investment in the advanced programmes at AMP an opportunity to take on a major part of a floor in building 2 was taken in 2013 and now all UT programmes are conducted from the AMP site.

As a result of the success of these programmes we have recently appointed Julia King as our Administrative Assistant at AMP and she will be responsible for Meet and Greet at Reception, folder presentation, consumables and documentation as well as other admin roles such as telephone and office organisation. She will be of great assistance to the UT tutors who will be managing the courses.

Further developments at the Lavender Ultrasonic facility at AMP include the expansion into another training room and establishment of new facilities for the Plate Tester training programme, the Composite Inspection programme, and investment in developing a UT Corrosion Inspection programme.
