On Thursday 7th July, volunteers from Marie Curie held a cake sale at Lavender International, Penistone.

Both staff and students were eager to buy the delicious cakes and buns, which sold out fast.  Their generous contributions raised a total of £131.50!  Marie Curie provide care and support for people living with any terminal illness and have been doing so for over 65 years.  They rely on the support of the general public to help raise money to fund such vital work.  Lavender International has supported Marie Curie for the last 3 years by holding regular cake sales, which have raised £1,269 in total!  We are proud to support such a fantastic charity and will continue to show our support over the coming years.

Many thanks to everyone who contributed to the cake sale, and to the Marie Curie volunteers Carol, Janet, Jean, Heather and Janet for providing such lovely cakes.  We look forward to your next visit!
