In June, the team headed to Gothenburg, Sweden, for the European Conference on NDT (ECNDT); where we announced our partnership with MME Group to provide PCN recertification exams at their facilities in Dintelmond, The Netherlands.
In September we were closer to home at the BINDT Annual Conference 2018 in Nottingham. Tim Armitt presented three talks about High Temperature Hydrogen Attack detection and characterisation, LIMBOTOFD™ and TULA inspection technique.
Our collaboration with GB Inspection on the development of the new TULA probe was also featured on the cover of BINDT Insight magazine. We also supported the BINDT Diversity and Inclusion committee with their first stand at the conference.
Later on that month the team flew to Dubai for the Gulf Non-Destructive Testing (GNDT) Expo, where we announced our partnership with NDTS India to provide training and examinations in UT, TOFD and Phased Array at their facility in Mumbai, India. We also had Tim Armitt presenting two talks about HTHA detection and the use of the LIMBOTOFD™ transducer.
Our latest conference in October was on home turf in Houston, Texas USA. We showcased ‘James’, our mock heat exchanger, and demonstrated a variety of methods including PA, TOFD and ET Tubes using the latest NDT equipment. Tim presented a talk about High Temperature Hydrogen Attack inspection using GB Inspection’s TULA probe. We also supported ASNT’s STEM event by providing demonstrations and explaining NDT to students from local schools to promote the industry to the younger generation.
Thank you to all event organisers and to everyone who visited our stand, we look forward to see what 2019 events have to bring!
